The problem

You're spending money to reach students. You just can't tell if it's working.

Every local business is fighting for the same college dollars. The usual playbook barely moves the needle:

What's different

We go straight to their phones. And we don't make you guess.

Campus Report lands in the one thing every student carries everywhere. But the real difference is what happens after your deal goes live.

Reach

Direct to the phone

Your offer reaches students where they actually are — not a flyer board, not a feed that buries you.

Partnership

We build the deal with you

Our system shows what students respond to, so we help you craft offers they'll actually use.

Proof

See what's working

How many students saw your deal, how many clicked to claim it, and how many shared it with a friend. Run a few offers and you'll see which ones students actually want — and which ones to drop.

Picture it

What you'll see

Every deal comes with a scoreboard.

Most local advertising is a black hole. With Campus Report, you get a dashboard like this for every offer:

The partnership

Your numbers, whenever you want them.

You're not on your own. You get a private login to your own dashboard — see how your deal did, issue by issue, any time you like.

What you see when you log in
Saw it — how many times your deal was seen, and how many devices that was.
Clicked — how many tapped through to claim your code.
Shared — how many finished passing your deal on to someone else.

Our standard

Students come first. Your deal earns its spot.

Campus Report isn't a flyer dump. Our system ranks deals by what students actually want. Nobody can pay for a position — there is no price that buys a better spot, and the best deal for students wins it.

That's good news for you: it means students trust what they see here. We'll help you build a deal strong enough to earn its place — so when you show up, you show up next to the best.

Where you can show up

More than one way to get noticed.

From student deals to featured spots and events — we'll help you pick what fits your goals.

What you can buy

Every placement, and what it does.

Five ways to show up in the weekly issue, and they are not all bought the same way. Two are a straight $25 an issue or $100 a month — the student deal slot and the secret menu deal. One is awarded, not sold. One is arranged directly with us. And one is not for sale at any price. Tell us what you're after and we'll walk you through it.

Sponsored Restaurant Review
By arrangementarranged directly, one per month
A featured write-up of your restaurant, written by us in our editorial voice and clearly marked Paid Promotion — so readers still trust it. This is editorial coverage, not a measured placement: a review carries no performance numbers. One per month, and it is arranged directly with us rather than submitted through the portal — we agree the feature period with you and write it ourselves.

Coming this fall

The free cookie that fills a table.

Students travel in packs. A genuinely free item pulls one student through your door — and he does not come alone. The friends who come with him are paying full price. That is the entire trick: the free item is the draw, the table is the revenue.

The Campus Card launches this fall — it is not running yet, and this is your chance to be on the first one. The Campus Card will be a digital promotional card students buy for $20. It will carry twelve hand-picked deals from twelve local businesses — one deal each, one season. The deals are genuinely free items — no purchase required. The students who buy one are the students who already go out.

Twelve slots a season, hand-picked. Deals are submitted for consideration — sending one does not reserve a spot, and we choose the twelve that make the strongest card for students.

A second reason

Hiring eats your time too. Post where they already are.

Every semester, your best student workers leave — and you're hiring all over again. Campus Report's Marketplace puts your "Now Hiring" post in front of the same students, right where they already look for work. Included with your advertiser account — your Now Hiring post runs in the weekly issue and on the Marketplace board at no extra charge.

Before you ask

The questions we actually get.

What does advertising cost?
$25 per issue, or $100 a month. A month is a term of four appearances. You are billed on Tuesday, when the board is frozen for the week — before your deal runs, never after, and only for an issue your deal is actually on. The ranking model doesn't change: better deals for students still rank higher and get featured more.
When will my placement appear?
Approved placements appear in the next Wednesday issue. Apply by Sunday midnight to make that week.
What is the ranking algorithm?
We rank deals based on value to students. Free items rank highest. BOGO deals rank second. The exact formula is proprietary but the principle is simple — better deals for students = better placement for you.
How do I know it's working?
Log in to your business portal any time and see how your placement did — how many times your deal was seen, how many devices that was, and how many tapped to claim it. Real numbers, updated with every issue.
Am I locked into anything?
No long-term commitment. A term is four appearances — four issues your deal actually runs in — and when it is used up you decide whether to go again. We put the terms in writing before anything runs: what you're offering, any limits, and when it ends. That protects you as much as us — a student can't turn up claiming something you never agreed to. For the Sponsored Restaurant Review, the commitment is the feature period we agree on.

Founding Advertiser

Our price goes up as the audience grows. A founding advertiser's ceiling doesn't.

Campus Report is a paid advertising channel, and the standard rate will rise as the readership does. Founding status is awarded, not bought — we give it for the strongest deal offered to students. It sets a ceiling on what you pay per issue — $35, $50 or $75 depending on the tier awarded — and that ceiling holds for six months from the day the standard rate first climbs above it.

Better deals for students rank higher and get featured more. That part doesn't change.

Awarded on the deal, not the date
